Takeout Tuesday: Whole30 Edition

A number of us Takeout Tuesdayers are taking part in the Whole30 this month, but that didn’t stop us from our monthly ritual. After a few e-mails back and forth with Sweet Green, we had a list of which ingredients are compliant and were ready to go!

Of course I made Whole30 compliant snacks appetizers! (We weren’t snacking, we were having part of our meal first! Wink, wink). I made sweet potato fries with my new mandolin (any one else find these to be the most difficult contraptions ever, or am I just too impatient to operate them?!) and served them with paleo mayo with a little cumin stirred in. I don’t even like mayo, but this was amazing!
And of course we had some bacon-wrapped avocado. Can you believe this was my first bacon since starting the Whole30!?
I was slightly concerned about scaring off non-Whole30ers with SALAD, but even Courtney likes loves Sweet Green.
