Spain Part II, Beautiful Faces: Lovely Strangers & other Candid Moments
It’s no secret that I like to take pictures of food (I can imagine my poor children asking someday “Mommy, why are you taking another picture of your hamburger? Don’t you want a picture of me?!) But although you wouldn’t know it from my blog, I also take pictures of people. And it’s not always about getting pictures of people I know, it’s often just catching people doing everyday things in a moment I know I want to go back to. That is what installment 2 of my Spain photos is all about (with a few random shots mixed in, for good measure).
It was somewhat by happy chance we ended up at the Feria de la Manzanilla in Sanlucar. I hadn’t been to a feria since I was the size of many of these little girls, but they certainly enjoyable to those young and old.
[…] We took a nice long walk back to Capitol Hill and got great big salads from Sweet Green (finally, some vegetables!) After a power nap, we decided to go enjoy Vinoteca’s Sunday night flamenco show. They were excellent, as always, as were the tapas and sangria. We even ended the night with a glass of Pedro Ximenez, bringing back many fond memories from Spain. […]
