A Recap of Month Two of My Culinary Journey

31 down, 164 to go

Month two of our trip around the world is in the books.  Speaking of books, thank goodness for the public library!  Seriously, I have stacks of cookbooks building in various spots around the house. Between travel and trying to consume leftovers I’ve fallen a bit behind, making only 12 new recipes in February.  Still, we’ve had some mighty tasty meals.  I’m recognizing a couple themes in our meals: stewed meats with rice and chicken soups.  But it’s amazing how different the dishes become with varying spices, herbs and other unique twists!  Here’s a look back at month two:

This month we went to: Algeria, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Greece, India, Mexico, Nauru, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, and the Philippines.

Top 5 Recipes:

5. Jollof Rice with Chicken
4. Avgolemono
