Excuse Montage

The Messy Kitchen has been a bit vacant lately.  I apologize, but I have an excuse… I’ve been hanging out with these guys.

Really, can you blame me?  The coming week promises to be even busier, but I will have a few recipes on the way!  In the meantime, a few more photos to explain my absence.

Fashion for Paws was last Saturday at the National Building Museum.  The event was a great success again this year.  Everyone was dressed to impress and Jana and I had a great time watching the pooches strut their stuff.

This Saturday was Pups in the Park, so Emily and Alex joined us for a double pup date and we brought Lila and Mia to see the Washington Nationals play.  They loved running the bases and doing reconnaissance on dropped hot dogs and peanuts.  Other than my epic sunburnt, it was a great day in the park!  The the pup section sold out, the rain held off, the Nats won in overtime and all of the pups (most importantly our own) seemed to be on their best behavior .
