Dill Pickle Hummus
I’m sure you know by now that hummus is one of my go-to dishes when I need to serve up a quick snack. It’s simple to make and always a crowd pleaser. Plus, the options are endless! I really liked this particular hummus. I added tahini to make it a bit creamier, but it still has a thinner texture than your typical hummus, almost like a baba ganoush. If you like dill pickles, this one is definitely for you!
Dill Pickle Hummus
Adapted from The Kitchen Operas
- 1 can (14.5 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 3 cloves garlic
- 5 baby dill pickles or 2 regular-sized dill pickles, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. pickle juice (from the jar of dill pickles)
- 2 Tbsp. tahini
- 1 tsp dried dill
Put all everything in a food processor and blitz until smooth. You may need to pause and scrape down the sides. Garnish with dried dill and a pickle and serve with veggies and pita chips!
Glad you liked my Dill Pickle Hummus! Yours looks delicious!!! 🙂

What’s your preferred pickle for this recipe? I used Bubbies it was super delicious, I prefer them because there’s no vinegar. I’m going to have to make this recipe again because it got DEMOLISHED last night at dinner! I probably only had 3-4 bites of it before it disappeared lol! Thanks for sharing!
